The need for a Home for the Aged originated . The local NG Church made the the former rectory available for this. Rooms were rooms changed and since 1976 21 Swart Street, Ventersburg functioned as Nasina Home, a center for the elderly.
As the need grew, more rooms and 10 apartment units were built. The center is centrally situated in the Free State , in a quiet rural area. The N1 from Johannesburg to Cape Town runs right past the town.
Nasina Centre for the elderly , ENGO caters for 44 frail elderly with full care including the following services :
* 24 Hour Nursing Services
* 10 Self Catering Apartment Units receive support service from the Center
* Residents are taken on day trips once a month.
* Shopping are done once a week for the Residents
* A qualified Hair Stylist comes in twice a week
* The local Library serves the Center once a week
* The Sunday Worship of the NG Church is broadcasted at the Nasina Center
